JULIE'S STORY
With the passing of Julie’s pasture mate, Romeo, in October of 2018. Julie is in her early thirties and is a typical boss mare quarter horse. She is still a strong and attentive equine, and loves her apples and carrots. Julie does have some health issues - Cushing's disease and arthritis to name the two worst, but she takes her medication well. As the boss mare she can be stubborn and demanding, but there is also a softness and wisdom in her eyes. She knows the word "grass" very well and loves to be taken out of her pasture to graze elsewhere - she certainly feels that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence! She is a well loved and respected resident at the farm.
